Kyle Busch 2011 Thread

For the 2011 season I will be betting Kyle Busch each and every week. Yes I am a fan and yes I have some extra money so this may end up costing me but and the very most it will cost me $741 dollars which I can live with over the course of the entire Nascar season. Some of you may think this is dumb or a waste but Im just doing it because I love nascar and who knows maybe I will make some money along the way.

Each and every week I will bet on Kyle to win the race. Starting with the Bud shootout I will place $1 on him. If he doesnt win I will place $2 dollars on him at Daytona in whichever duel he is in, after another lose it will be $3 on him at Daytona and then $4 at pheonix and so on and so forth. When Kyle wins a race I will start back over at $1 and work my way back up again.

Like I said this is for fun and somthing to do every week and maybe I will not make money maybe I will but I see it as having fun over the course of an entire season for under 800 bucks if I lose absolutely everything. If and when he wins a race it will throw the math off of the total cost but I know it cant go over 800

That being said I can not wait for the shootout saturday night and for the 500 to finally get underway next weekend!

should have mentioned that I am using both bookmaker and betphoenix for whichever gives me the better line on that particular week....going with phoenix this weekend because they have the +800 already up and I locked it in

I did count the all star race as well to make for the 36 race season, the shoot out, duel and all star for a total of 39 races in 2011

Sounds like an interesting idea, anyway to see how this could have worked out last year??

I have no idea how to go about looking it up...I came up with the idea randomly when I was thinking about the upcoming season...My thought process was that I am going to watch every race and then I was like fuck it how much would it cost to bet every race, did the math and it came out to just under 800 if he doesnt win anything this year...I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out...might be a disaster, might make a profit...it will be fun to find out

2010 won 3 races
Last year he won the 12th race at +800...so by the 12th race I would have spent $78 and won $96 so after 12 races I would be +$18 He then went two more races and won at +600 and I would have spent $3 and won $12 so after the 14 race I would have been +$27....He then won the 13th race after that at +600...I would have spent $91 and won $78...so after 27 races I would have been +$14....that was the last race of the year that he won so to finish the season I would have spent...$78....which would put this idea at -64 for the year

won 4 races would have been -54

2008
won 8 races -3

I like my chances after doing the math...although it has lost money three years it appears as though he is one late season win away from being a profit

I think this will be fun to keep track of and I am looking forward to the season starting

Not a good qualifing run but I am hoping that leads to a good line for the duel on Thursday

I am going to jump ahead of the duel today and take the 500 line at +900...books seem to be slow with the lines for the duels so I will go ahead and place my $3 on the 500 and if a duel line shows up I will put my $2 on it...I am hoping this doesnt backfire and a poor showing on Thursday would make the 500 line go up but I am taking my chances
